You might recognize this

Does any of this feel familiar?

  • You know what you'd like to change, yet you find yourself repeating old patterns.
  • Different parts of you seem to want conflicting things.
  • You react in ways you later wish you could understand.
  • It's hard to put words to what's happening inside.
  • You'd like to understand yourself instead of continually judging yourself.
  • You long for more honesty, connection, and choice in your relationships.

None of this means something is wrong with you. These experiences can become invitations — to approach yourself with a little more curiosity.

Parts work, in plain language

A different relationship with yourself

Most of us experience many inner perspectives — different emotions, impulses, and protective responses. One part of us may want connection while another wants to withdraw. One part pushes us to succeed while another feels exhausted.

Rather than treating these as problems to eliminate, IFS-informed parts work invites us to listen, to understand what each part is trying to do for us, and to build a more compassionate relationship with them.

Internal Family Systems also describes the Self — a capacity for curiosity, clarity, compassion, and perspective that's available to all of us. Being in touch with Self doesn't mean always feeling calm or positive. It means there's room to be with whatever is here.

How I work

Collaborative, not prescriptive.

I don't have all the answers, and I'm not here to fix you. My role is to offer steady, curious presence while you get to know your own inner world.

  1. 01

    Curiosity over judgment

We explore inner experiences rather than criticize them.

  2. 02

    Respect for every part

Protective responses are approached with understanding, not force.

  3. 03

    Consent and collaboration

We work at a pace that respects your readiness and your boundaries.

  4. 04

    Presence over performance

There's no expectation to say the right thing or have everything figured out.

  5. 05

    Greater awareness and choice

The aim is to understand what's happening and discover new ways of responding.

Individual sessions

One-hour virtual IFS-informed sessions

Sessions are a space to explore inner conflict, emotional patterns, relationship challenges, self-criticism, and whatever else is alive in your personal growth.

You don't need any prior experience with IFS, and you don't need a perfectly defined goal. We start where you are.

About Stephanie

Hi, I'm Stephanie.

I studied Human Development and Family Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin, served as an Air Force medic, and later worked in social work alongside people navigating some of life's hardest circumstances.

Today I facilitate IFS-informed parts work and relational awareness practices. What ties it together is a deep respect for human complexity — and for the protective ways we all learn to get through life.

Questions

Frequently asked

What is IFS-informed parts work?
It's an approach to personal growth inspired by Internal Family Systems (IFS). It recognizes that we all have different inner 'parts' — feelings, impulses, and protective responses — and invites us to get to know them with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment.
What happens in a session?
We begin with a brief conversation about what's present for you, choose something to explore — a feeling, situation, inner conflict, or pattern — and approach it with curiosity, at your pace. We close with time to reflect and reorient. You stay in charge of what you share throughout.
Do I need prior experience with IFS?
No. Many people come with no background in IFS at all. I'll explain anything that's helpful along the way, and there's no right way to do it.
Is this therapy?
No. I offer IFS-informed personal growth work as a facilitator of awareness practices. I'm not offering psychotherapy and I'm not a licensed mental health professional. Sessions don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and they aren't a replacement for therapy or medical care.
What if I don't know what I want to explore?
That's completely okay. Not knowing is a fine place to start. We can begin with whatever you notice in the moment and let curiosity guide us.
Can we work with relationship challenges?
Yes. Relationships often bring our parts to the surface. We can explore the patterns, reactions, and inner conflicts that show up in your relationships — from your side of the experience.
How much do sessions cost?
Session fees and available options can be discussed during your free Curiosity Call, so we can talk about what fits your circumstances.
What happens during a Curiosity Call?
It's a free, introductory conversation — a chance to meet me, ask questions, learn about my approach, and explore whether working together feels like a good fit. It isn't a full IFS session or a therapy appointment. You'll find the current details on the booking page.

Curious whether this work is a fit?

A free Curiosity Call is a relaxed introductory conversation — a chance to meet me, ask questions, and explore whether working together feels right. It isn't a full session or a therapy appointment. You'll find the current details on the booking page.
